Common Questions

  • Ground Sample Distance (GSD) is a measure of cm / pixel in the image. It’s a technical term for the drone industry that isn’t very helpful unless you are requesting surveying or mapping type services.

For other applications, it’s more helpful to simply describe what you would like us to capture.

Event Example: We want the entire wedding party in front of the church, and we want the full church building in the image, not chopped off by the camera range.

Real Estate and Construction Examples: Include a view of the surrounding neighborhood along with close ups of our home, along with a cinematic fly-by that spotlights our home.

For larger properties… Capture close up images of the three main buildings along with an image showcasing the expanse of the listing.

Without obtaining a waiver from the FAA, we cannot fly above 400 ft Above Ground Level (AGL). You can get an idea of the range of possibilities from the images below.

  • As a general rule, we will stay at least 10 to 15 feet away from any structures for safety reasons. More detailed images can then be obtained from the zoom of the camera system.
